The aim of this module is to provide learners with an introduction to conflict sensitivity to help them consider conflict sensitivity in their work and to understand how this links to other policies and approaches in the Aid Sector. This is a stand alone module linked to HOP Fundamentals, an open-access, self-paced catalogue of quality assured and interactive learning modules, curated by partner providers or created by Save the Children.

Fundamentals has three levels and is aimed at people beginning their career in the humanitarian sector or for those transitioning from the development sector. It is also aimed at individuals who have never received formal training on the essentials of humanitarian action, or for those wishing to ‘refresh’ their knowledge. This course is designed to provide learners in the humanitarian sector with an introduction to conflict sensitivity and is applicable to all learners, both technical and non-technical.
